For this week's WCW, we watched an Emma video about perspective and painting flowers. It was a very good video. In the end, I'm quite pleased with how my daisies turned out. My intention was to use the sketch this week but then I decided it needed to stand on its own.
It took quite a while to get it where I was pretty happy. Lots of different layers, I got a little impatient as usual. I did some shading with the graphite pencil and added some tiny white dots in the centers.

You are SO smart!! The first thing I noticed after the great perspective you achieved was the hint of shading. That's something I wanted on mine but was afraid I'd muck up my whole painting if I tried to paint near my daisies . . . . In a million years, I would never have thought of Graphite pencil - BRILLIANT!
