I made the card for my DH using a Die Cuts With a View card kit. The brown panel in the centre flips down and I wrote inside of it the different things that make up 'everything' (inspiration, courage, confidence, etc.). I CASEd this great idea from JackieG's father's day card for her DH. I panicked because after I wrote everything and adhered the panel to the front of the card, I couldn't think of a way to clip it closed until I realised that this is the kind of thing paper clips were originally made to do. ;)
The 'everything' cardstock sticker came from the kit, and I sponged the edges using Faded Denim and Fired Brick. I sponged the edges of the textured tan CS using Fired Brick, adhered the sticker, and affixed brown velvet ribbon with a crystal brad run through it to one side of the sticker. The velvet ribbon is less green in real life. I cut a smaller piece of lighter tan to cover the entire inside of the textured tan panel so the ribbon would be covered, and wrote what made up 'everything' on that and adhered it to the inside using Zots so the card had enough flexibility to open and close.
I adhered this to the front of the textured, patterned card blank that came with the kit, and held it closed with an orangey-brown coil clip. It was still missing something so I found my favourite sheet of vellum stickers and stuck my favourite one on the bottom right corner. It is less shiny in real life.
I just happened to find a perfectly coordinating box at Dollarama. I padded the bottom of the box with some white tulle from our reception and put his gift inside.
Thanks for looking!

What a gorgeous gift! I hope he liked it as much as you put into it! I'm sure he did! Hope you had a super Anniversary. I'm coming up on 10 years in November! Wow! Can't believe it's been that long already! Time flies! Is there a pattern for the flip down panel? Gorgeous work as always!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
