For Lisa's WTUI challenge today: WT938 - Sound of Music - March 2 by Shoe Girl at Splitcoaststampers. Cool challenge, Lisa, it should be a great gallery. I remember seeing a lovely card based on the gazebo scene many years ago. I went for brown paper packages tied up with string, obviously!! The boxes in the die set are slightly angular, I trimmed them to even squares to make the wrapping with brown paper easier. Found some suitable wallpaper-like DP. Sponged the base green and doodled a border. I didn't want to make the card any bigger, so I left it looking as if one of the packageshad fallen off his pile - what my father used to call a "lazy man's load". He's about to trip!!

I had to smile at the tripping hazard, my cat is one of those too! The doodled border is fabulous, must try it at some stage (adds to long, long To Do list!).

Such a fun card based on the song (which I love, and will be singing all day!!). I love the "wallpaper" and the elf is wonderful!

That song is one of my favorite in the movie. I think I have seen the movie about 20 times and oh how I love the songs. Great Christmas card with the brown paper packages.
