Since the woman this is going to was a postal worker for 30 years, this stamp set seemed a natural. I got the idea for the 3 mailboxes in a row from a card I saw on Pinterest.
I stamped the mailboxes, flowers, snail, & envelope onto smooth bristol paper. I used my Zig markers to color the flowers, snail, & the boxes, & shade the envelope to go inside the box.
I ink blended a background with rainbow colors. I cut it shorter to fit the mailboxes better, leaving about a 3/4" space along the top of my card base. I took the same colors I'd used to blend the rainbow, only with Distress Oxides this time, & stamped 3 of the envelopes from "Sending Happy Thoughts" to create kind of a jumbled rainbow design. Since the blended portion started with red on the left, I started with lavender on the left of the stamped border, & worked my way to red at the right side. One part of the Teapot challenge, since the recipient is a twin, is to use 2 of something. So I have 2 rainbows.
I glued the mailboxes to the ink blended panel, then adhered that to my card base. I left the front panels of the boxes able to flip down, to reveal what's inside each box. I hope this card will bring some amount of comfort to the recipient.

Fantastic card, so creative! I love the double rainbows, and the mailboxes are so sweet.

This is fabulous! I love your "double rainbows" and design. Each of those mailboxes is delightful on its own but it's triple the pleasure with your display. I love those flowers adoring the top of the third one. Being able to open each box and discover its contents -- super fun -- just like when I get happy snail mail at home. I think Theresa will be wowed by this gem.
