Mary is our hostess in the Color Challenge this week, and her dessert option is helping us get ready for spring (which can't come soon enough IMHO!). The colors are Blackberry Bliss, Bumble Bee, and Mossy Meadow. The dessert option is flowers! Check!
This embossing folder and die produce an impressive card pretty quickly, so they're one of my favorites. I ran two card fronts through my embossing machine, then cut the flower out of one of them with the die. Colored it with Copic Markers, and glued it in place on the first layer. Stamped the greeting with VersaMark ink on Blackberry Bliss cardstock, and heat set with white embossing powder. Die cut with the matching die. Mounted this layer on a top-folding base card, popped the greeting up on foam tape, and added a few jewel drops.
There are going to be some beautiful flowers in the gallery this week. Please join in and make a card to share with us--and then send it to a friend!

GORGEOUS! I'd never heard of flower until I looked it up and it's one of my favorites! My husband frequently brings me Peruvian Lilies - according to Google - another name for Alstroemeria, What a beautiful card.
I just ordered this -- thanks!!!

So pretty! Love how you used the 3-D embossing folder for the background and to create the bloom. Looks awesome. Love those drops and the heat embossed sentiment. Beautiful card.
