I got the idea of creating my own Argyle plaid after seeing this super card: WT936 Golfer's Birthday by hobbydujour at Splitcoaststampers
Instead of stenciling the diamond shapes, I used the Print Pattern BG stamp in Pear Pizzazz, then colored alternating diamonds with watercolor pencil. Brushed all diamonds with water which brought out both colors. Used a black microline pen and a ruler to add the thin lines. Stamped the clover image on another piece of watercolor paper, colored with the same green pencil and sponged Pear Pizzazz around the edges. Added a strip of gold paper and some Nuvo Drops.
