This card is for today's sketch challenge based on the walking gait of a horse and also for today's Alphabet challenge letter L for logs. I have both pre-logs (also known as trees) and fire logs on my card.
I thought quite a bit about this sketch and finally came up with this scene idea. I used some markers direct to stamp to get my tree tops green and the trunks brown. It was a little tricky stamping the brown and green panels together for the continuity of the trees (they were two loose panels at that point). It is a pretty straight forward card once I decided on my approach.
I did doodle the trees on the right side of the card to make them long enough. The sentiment is actually longer and in two lines but I only wanted the first three words on the front. Inside the rest of the sentiment says "like s'mores and a campfire."
My raccoon and campfire are colored with Copics and the sentiment is popped up. This became my DH's Valentine's card.
Thanks for the challenges and thanks for looking!

So fun! Great idea for the sketch. Thank you for the inspiration. Just love how you interpreted the sketch with one square above the others! And how fun is that raccoon!

What a fun image of the s'mores and raccoon. Your pre-logs made me laugh, mf!
