One of Theresa's joys in life was to go gambling so I decided to use that as my theme. I have been hoarding a fun cocktail napkin and now seemed the perfect occasion to do a felted napkin for my background. This also features TWO games of chance to fit the challenge.
I separated the plys then modge podged the design to a piece of cardstock and set aside to dry while I went to work.
Computer generated my own sentiment die cut and framed with blue (Theresa's favorite color). It sounds like today's recipient lived her life to the fullest and enjoyed a variety of interests. In keeping with that I decided to take a chance on the Mae West quote for the inside:
"You only live once BUT if you do it right - once is enough!"

How nice that you have just the right napkin for Theresa's card. I'm sure this will bring back fond memories for her!

oh my gosh - I was wondering where you got the awesome background paper.. a napkin?? wow. I'll have to pay more attention when I go shopping, especially at the dollar stores for napkins. Never thought of using them as background. This came out perfect ! The sentiment is awesome too....

Well, that felted bg is certainly hit in this group and with me too. How wonderful and creative. Looks so much like a felt table for gaming. Speaking of gaming, great to have picked up on her love of gambling and your sentiment reflections those games so well. Great card.
I'm so sorry to read about your eyes still bothering. Prayers that the next surgery does the trick for you. Hugs.
