The Free for All challenge for today was to use shadows, which reminded me of the TLC from last week where we were supposed to try stamping with the smooth back sides of our stamps, which creates a kind of a shadow, so I decided to combine the two challenges.
I covered a white card front with some light bluish green pattern paper from my scrap box. I cut a smaller panel from white cardstock and used my MISTI to stamp with the reverse of the wreath stamp in light grey ink. Then i cleaned it and flipped it over to stamp the leaf outline wreath in light green over the gray. Then I used another stamp with the inner part of the leaves and stamped over the other two layers in pesto. I stamped the sentiment in pesto as well. I embellished with some gem stickers and a bow made from green embroidery thread.
USEIT2023: the Birch Press wreath set is cool and I have not used it nearly enough. I also used paper from the scrap bin and some very old shadow inks that still worked.
