This was done following along with this week's tutorial in the watercoloring challenges by Julia Lis Art. I do have a few still life shots on the blog and it helps my brain. I do not know why but, at one point I had painted the needles of the pine sprigs and then taking a cell phone shot and cropping it, I realized it really needed to have brown on the branches kind of a thing. So, I do take photos as I go along with painting I really believe we see things differently on a screen than in person. no idea why. Those shots are here on the blog. You can find this challenge here to play along with us. Thanks for looking.

Well, just wow, Stacy!!! I love this card. Your pine needles/branches are perfection and so is the fence and all the rest. Cute cardinal. Thanks for a fun, fun challenge.

STUNNING! Thank you for this approachable challenge this week - and a beautiful one, to boot! Your painting, however, is over-the-top gorgeous! Thank you so much for sharing!

Gorgeous, Stacy. Your fence and pine boughs look amazing. Your pine boughs are better than the tutorial. Wow. Awesomely done! Hugz
