I chose to use a retired stamp set that has not seen a ink for awhile. It was fun creating this birthday party scene for a young child.
There are no mistakes in the stamp room, just opportunities for a Plan B. I wanted to stamp the sentiment directly on the card, but when I messed up the impression, it was time for another idea. Plan B turned out to be creating a sentiment sign. It worked great to hang it from the top edge with a stamp meant to be ribbon on a gift box. I love the versatility of using stamps in different ways.
Thanks for taking a peek. Enjoy the colors!

Great minds think alike! Glad we could both find inspiration from the same stamps. I love how you hung your greeting sign, especially the cute little stars.

This is adorable and I love how Plan B worked out! I would never have guessed it wasn't supposed to be that way. And I also like using stamps in unique ways!

Totally enchanting! This design will charm any child. I heard that there are no mistakes in card-making! If you didn't tell we would never know...

I don't know which I love more, Diane, the card itself or the story about the Plan B. I imagine the original plan would have looked good, but this "sign" hanging down from the bows and ribbons is fantastic. Cute, cute animals, love the card!
