I've gone off the rails...but this was fun. I have had the large focal point paper for a while, sent to me by a stamping friend. Maybe it's Graphics45, I don't know. I've been staring at it, wondering how to use it and then I saw this on the Pinterest page for today's IC: https://www.pinterest.com/pin/136585801177610061/
This lovely lady deserved a crown so I used stars dies instead of shells. Her crown is made with some handmade blue paper with silver stars and a gel print on tissue with a stencil and acrylic paints. I received a sweater for Christmas from a friend so I saved the tag of the three ladies in striped sweaters and decided they needed crowns too. I used a new to me 3D ef, featuring gears, yes that will work in nicely, embossed in copper. All of a sudden, another set of wheels started turning: Anita's tea party tickle. Stripes, dots and faces! I had two out of three so I added some dots with DOx and a mini dauber, outlined with the gold Sharpie and also added some gold dots on the striped sweaters.
This is also for the two MMJ2023 challenges, various directions for mixed media. Here is the challenge thread: MMJ2023 CHALLENGES ONLY (No Chat Please) by Ozpom at Splitcoaststampers
I don't know if it's legal to combine the two MMJ challenges, let me know if that's not kosher.
I recognize that this might not be everyone's cup of tea (ha!) for Anita's challenge so I'll make something different if I feel like it won't be. I think this would make a grand journal cover. Thanks for the challenges, Julie, Gracie and Jaynie! A blast was had by me! BTW I used all the prompts for the two MMJ challenges, except the texture paste.

Gorgeous main face, and the starry crown is just delicious!! Beautiful combination of colors and textures to cover the challenges. A work of art, jean!!

The starry headdress goes fantastically with the steampunk face (I've just been watching "Hugo", so it's in keeping). Love all the copper embossing, and I'd wear those striped jumpers no problem - with or without the gold dots. I'd probably pass on the crown, LOL.
