So here is my story: a week or so ago, I was cleaning out a drawer in my bedside table, which is also a Victorian wash stand. Very messy drawer! I found this sticker, which I probably bought for one of my grand girls (and they are totally grand!) and I thought, well, scan it, then you could use it on a card and still give it to one of them. I have no recollection of why I have it...maybe they gave it to me, because they're grand like that and so am I. Anyway, I had to figure out last fall how to scan something using my existing printer/scanner and new laptop. I did figure that out but do you think I could remember how I did it? What an ordeal!! Last night, I couldn't get to sleep, thinking about it and all of a sudden, an idea popped in my head. Yay, I found it, although it didn't work at first, I had to restart the computer. I need to be able to scan to submit my taxes (dislike this time of year for that).
In my quest to use scraps, I found this big sheet of wc paper that I had attempted some kind of technique, not with a ton of success but I saved it, cut it down, added another color with teal spray, used three of my most favorite wood mounted stamps, cut a little arrow, found a cool brad from way back when and ....well, there you go.
This is also for the ABC18 J is for Jacks or Jumping Jacks. I immediately thought of the Jumping For Joy stamp and then in my search for it, found the sentiment at the bottom. I think I will send this to one of my grands, maybe make a second one because I can, now that I FIGURED OUT THE DARN SCANNING. YES, I'M SHOUTING!!
In a quieter voice, thanks for the challenges! BTW the arrow won't move, I just picked a spot for it.

I love this beautiful bright card with it's uplifting message, Jean. I'm going through a tough medical challenge right now and my friend has been encouraging me to recite healing affirmations. I smiled and thought of her when I saw your lovely card.
