I changed the colors, the stamp, and the sentiment. The theme of my card is actually a Groundhog Day card. Since the 70s, a friend and I have celebrated Groundhog Day. Now that we live on opposite sides of the country, I began making cards for her - but Groundhog Day cards are hard to make. So since she lives in Florida....I changed our holiday to Flamingo Day - flamingo-themed cards being much more fun to make. I kept Kathy's basic design with a striped circle and some color splashes behind. In the bottom left corner, I changed the sentiment to Happy Ground Hog - I mean, Flamingo Day. (It doesn't show very well.)

Camille, what a great idea for a card for your friend. Flamingo Day - a lot of my friends would like that. That flamingo image is super cool and love your background. Fab case you made completely your own. Hugz

Love how you interpreted this, maybe Flamingo Day will become a thing! Last year I made Groundhog Day cards with the Awesome Otters set LOL. We always watch the Bill Murray show on that day.

Love how you used the inspiration card here. Those black stripes really look great agains those splashes of color. Beautiful backdrop for your main image. Love that you switched out a groundhog for a Floridian Flamingo I bet your friend will get a big kick out that and this wonderful card.
