I have a three-section plastic serving dish from Dollar Tree on my desk, into which I dump small punchies and die cuts that I make to use up scraps. So this was perfect for the CAS clean your desk challenge! One of the dishes held a bunch of mini banner punchies that I had made to use up the scraps of a bunch of coordinating papers, mostly from a masculine Authentique paper pad. Since the shapes were little banners, this also worked for the most recent Ways to Use It challenge.
I had seven cards left in a pack of Dollar Tree cards that had light green fronts and decided to use these as bases. I cut rectangles of white cardstock slightly smaller than the card fronts. I sorted out my banner punchies and for each card, I stretched a piece of baker twine across the front of the white piece, taping on the back side. I glued the banners to the twine and the card front, then stamped the sentiment on each card front with denim ink. Then I attached the card fronts to the green base cards with foam tape. These will go to my seniors this month.
USEIT2023: Used up a bunch of already-punched paper scraps from my desk, and finished off a package of premade cards!
