I made this card for the January 3 Teapot challenge - Big and or Bold Birthday. It also works for this week's Alphabet challenge of I for inflatable.
I don't have anything neon (as far as I know) so I chose these five colors for my balloons, die cut them, and then stamped each with the same color ink to stamp a pattern onto it. I followed that with covering the balloons with Versamark and heat embossing with Kaleidoscope sparkle embossing powder.
I die cut the numbers from gold mirror paper and assembled my card. Some of the balloons are popped up with single and double foam tape with gold twine serving as strings (that was the most fiddly part).
I decided to add some texture to the background so I stamped some "dottage" with gold ink. That was still a little subtle so I added a gold frame using a gold pen.
Inside, I stamped the word happy using the script stamp from Biggest Wish and heat embossed that, then added the bold type word birthday with Tempting Turquoise right over it.
This was a fun card to make, I hope Pat likes it. She should have received it by now so I'm uploading to the gallery.
Thanks for the challenges and thanks for looking!

You got it all here -- big, bold, bright and shiny topped off with those "big" numbers (literally and figuratively). Love the gold dots and hand penned gold framing. Such a fun, festive card.
