I was inspired by the Sketch Challenge in the making of my birthday card for my Mom's first cousin, who is in her late 80's. These are her favorite colors and she likes to have her morning tea in a china cup. I did adapt the sketch with a teacup instead of a circle and used an A2 size.
The die set had the words: happy, birthday, you, but not the word "to". The CAS Challenge for 123 Day gave me the idea to use the number 2 in place of the word "to".
The end results looks like a card my "first cousin once removed" will enjoy. TFL

Beautiful as well as sweet! Love the colors, the layering, and the doily under the teacup. The trim on the cup and the lettering are both perfect.

Fun way to use the sketch. I love that you personalized it so well for her. I think that's the best part about our craft - being able to create something so specific to the person.
