This card is for today's sketch challenge, today's Alphabet Challenge (letter I for inflatables), and yesterday's color challenge colors. This is take 2.
When I did the balloon background, I made two. This one I used both layers of the layered stencil to create my background. Using my Misti, I repeat stamped the word happy down the side of the panel (though I did change the side from the sketch). This time I chose to heat emboss it using silver embossing powder.
I wanted to use a cake die cut for this but my cake was not the right scale so on to plan B. I took SU markers directly to the stamp to color my cupcake and stamped it. I used a Versamark marker on the sentiment and heat embossed it. It didn't turn out quite right so I did it again and adhered it below where it should be, then die cut the image with a circle framelit and matted it with silver mirror.
I had these three sequins on my desk and thought they went with Pear Pizzaz so stuck them on too.
I like this embossed version too. Thanks for all of the challenges and thanks for looking.

That balloon background really is the star of the show! Love the embossed sentiment column. It is so precisely done. I bet the silver looks fabulous IRL. Super special birthday card!
