I was inspired by this image from the thumbnails: Forums at Splitcoaststampers
and used this inspiration to make my mixed media card from yesterday's challenge changing the moon into a heart shape and added these cute loving birds.
I've started applying black acrylic paint with an old credit card over a post-it die cut masking heart, then I've added golden metallic paint with a piece of crumbled aluminium foil, then peeled of the heart and added yellow orange and red paint in the heart and used a cotton ball to sponge it, I've stamped the birds and heart balloon with stazon ink, used posca markers to color the heart and birds, drew the branch to the edge used crystal nuvo drops for the heart border and the tiny hearts and drew around them with a black marker, at the bottom I've used the foil ball to add a bit of color and drew with the white gel pen

Sweet birds and love the heart instead of a moon. Yes, we went in different directions with the same inspiration photo. So fun! Sweet card, Anita. Hugz

I love your hearts and the complete card. Who would have thought years ago of using credit cards and aluminum foil for cards? Now, we love it and do wonderful things with those items. Love is definitely in the air here.
