The Ways to Use It challenge this week is all about dividing your image. My card is a simple triptych created by taking a Bugaboo image and dividing it into three equal parts. Each part is mounted on a black mat, then on the patterned paper. I picked a pretty simple image so it would still make sense after I sliced it up. The image has color added with colored pencils and a few details in silver gel pen. I think will be a masculine valentine for me. (Now I am going to go on a tangent.) The triptych challenge made me smile because I recently finished a mystery where the victim was an artist known for making triptychs. His most recent work of art also went missing, so the word triptych appeared on almost every page. It's just not a word you see that often, and seeing it so many times was amusing.

This looks terrific! I like the pun and (ok--I can't help myself)..since the writer of that book used the word triptych so much...I wonder if that mystery will end up being a...trilogy? Ha ha....

My bad - I worked a full week last week and never thought to move your other card from the hostess area. I was barely functioning at that stage. I'm sorry! What a fun and happy card it is.

I love this! I am a light bulb lover and the image is sooooo cool. Great way to showcase it with this fab sketch. Super card! Hugz
