Jeanne is our hostess in the Color Challenge this week, and she has given me an opportunity to use my new paper pack from Stampin' Up!, Texture Chic. The colors are Calypso Coral, Petal Pink, Soft Succulent, and the dessert option is to use gems or sequins on your project.
I pulled out a very old SU set that I've always really liked, Too Kind, and stamped my flowers and stems with this week's colors. My old stamps are still on their wood blocks, so I used my trusty old Stamp-A-Ma-Jig for perfect placement.
I die cut this panel and another one, same size, from DS paper, and stacked them at a jaunty angle. I stamped the greeting and die cut, cutting two additional white layers and stacking them for a little dimension. Added a few gems for dessert.
This card will go to a friend who's moving into assisted living, along with a bouquet of pink flowers.
Please play along with us this week, and display your card in the gallery for us all to enjoy!

You know what? I use my Stampamajig quite often too because I have too many wood mount sets that I am not willing to part with. I can't get over how our cards are so similar, Barbara, so of course I'm loving what you did here!

Beautiful card, Barbara. I'm with you using the stamp-a-ma-jig for my many wood mounted stamps. Wonderful card design. Love the paper and the flowers. Your friend will love her card and bouquet!
