I know Pat likes cooking and had plans to use my Creative Expressions apron, but I couldn't fit it on the card unless I scaled my letters down, and I couldn't imagine when I'd use these mirror and holographic letters for anything else and didn't want to waste them Sorry, Pat!
I went big and bold, the base is a sheet of silver cardstock folded in half. I trimmed the holographic firework card from HOTP to fit. The letters, hard to see the true colours, are gold and silver mirror card and a sort of reflective green holographic type. They're all popped up slightly on foam.
I cut two fireworks from red holographic and was glad there wasn't room to fit any more, they were terrible to get out of the stamen die! The mouse is Penny Black Bubbles of Joy!, stamped on watercolour paper, coloured with distress inks and Inktense pencils and a gold gel pen, and fussy cut. Stickles on the bubble. The letters are Altenew Bold capitals.
I'm not sure I'll get to the computer today so I'm just uploading a photo from my phone. I'll try with my camera, but with the holographic and mirror cards it's never going to be easy to get a good picture, and I promise, in real life this is quite classy and very nice indeed. The green is not as lurid as it looks here. Thanks to Margot for most of the card stock I used.
My layout was inspired by Lyn's Stacked Sentiment Block TLC from Christmas Eve 2019 - TLC774 ~Stacked Sentiment Block~ {12/22/19} by Rebeccaof at Splitcoaststampers. I used "celebrate" that time too.

Well, you can't get much more celebratory than this explosive card. Love love love the holographic look and all the fireworks being viewed by that cute mouse. I know what you mean about photographing different papers. Your card looks great here so I can imagine how spectacular it is in real life. Pat will love this!

I inherited oodles of that mirror board and you are right - it makes a fabulously rich looking card but nearly impossible to photograph . . . . Goodness - I can't remember the last time I pulled out the PB Bubbly stamp set and that mouse on a champagne cork is such a fun addition to that fireworks bg. Super celebratory card for a New Year's birthday.

I love your big and bold celebratory birthday card! The holographic paper is perfect from the inspiration of the neon sign teapot too. This is just fabulous for a fun birthday card.
