Happy New Year! We Have fun colors this week from Chris. And they are perfect for a sweet dessert!
I pulled out an oldie but goodie (and a personal fav) Create a Cupcake. I popped up the scalloped panel and also the cupcake, and glued the candle to the panel behind the icing.
This was a very easy card to make. I originally tried a dotted background but felt that looked a bit dated with the cupcake. I think the plaid has a more contemporary feel to it. Even though dots are my favorite with this set they took me back 10 years!
I hope you'll find time to join us this week!

I ate the biggest cupcake ever last week at a Christmas house display. I had to eat it in two sittings, but the same day, so I guess that doesn't count. Your cupcake looks delicious and so pretty.

I love this sentiment, as one cupcake is never enough! I am a fan of multiple slices of cake, and cupcakes just slide down. Very cute card, and makes me drool!
