Chris is our hostess in the Color Challenge this week, and she has given us colors perfect for this week's Technique Lover's Challenge, as well. The colors are Sweet Sorbet, Mint Macaron and Early Espresso. Dessert is something sweet. Technically, I don't get dessert, although this card is going to a very sweet person. Does that count? ;-)
I was intrigued by this week's Technique Lover's Challenge, and decided to make a card to send to a friend who loves flowers. The tutorial is super-easy to follow, and making the card was fun.
Please join us in the gallery this week, and start off the new year with something sweet! I can't wait to see what you create!

You've done such beautiful work with this flower pot and I think it definitely counts to give it to a sweet person. The espresso trim on that striped pot is just perfect for your happy looking flowers.

Gorgeous flower pot card. Love how the dark brown accentuates the the flowers. The lacy scallop edge and the stripes make a lovely designer flower pot. Sweet card for a special someone.

Of course it counts and I say you're a very sweet person! I'm happy to see that you did this technique, as you know, techniques are near and dear to me. It's a lovely pot of flowers, from a sweet to a sweet.
