I do love to make a scene! I also love to try new techniques, so I chose to make a Repeated Stencil scene this morning. I used my Erin Lee Creative mountain stencil and layered with Broken China, Shaded Lilac, and Uncharted Mariner. I like the icy, snowy, glacier background that I ended up with. The MFP penguin and polar bear were on my to do list and so were the puffins. I realize that I have mixed the poles here, but I don't care. It's cute. Get over it. LOL. I stamped the bear and penguin, drew in the horizon and cut it out. Then I drew in the icy edge and watercolored the water using the same inks as the stenciled background. I added the puffins and put together the card before I figured out what to use as a sentiment. I typed the word "cool" into my Color My Life app and decided that this cute speech bubble would make a fun winter card.
Thanks for a fun challenge, Sandy!

You have wonderful scenes on your cards and this one is just too cute! Great stencil for your sky with these adorable penguins and the super sweet polar bear.

Puffins AND penguins, you have won my heart. And a cute polar cub. Your stencilled background is super. I guess I could cut my own from mylar to try the tutorial, I knew I had nothing suitable in my stencil book. I love the way the mountains are reflected in the water.
