I attempted to fashion from paper a little black dress that if it were fashioned from fabric like I might have done years ago as a seamstress, would/could be worn by a princess attending her gala, ball, New Years Eve event, black tie event, etc. To describe how I fashioned it: crimped cardstock, then trial and error cutting paper, assembling pieces to resemble a dress with a sweetheart neckline, an empire waist, a pleated skirt, and a glitzy band where the top meets the bottom (I used ribbon for that on the card). I added the red rose to enhance the neckline. The string of pearls is the last scrap I had of those, white in real life, but against the cream colored cardstock, the pearls look like the actual color of pearls. In keeping with a black background theme, I chose a dark gray glitter paper from my stash, source unknown. However, I wish I could remember, because it turned out to be self-adhesive, and now I want more of it! The packaging looked like something I would have purchased from a dollar store or from a Tuesday Morning store. I am always shopping for bargains! I adhered the glitter sheet to black cardstock, a really nice base weight Neenah cardstock I purchased through Amazon years ago. I save it for special occasion cards. I do not have any idea what special occasion this card will be used for, or for whom, so it will be added to my stash until an appropriate need for it arises.

Wow! I'm so impressed! Love the way you crimped the paper and put all the pieces together - looks like a lot of work so good on you for sticking to it. Thank you so much for making a card for my VSN challenge.
