This week's Featured Stamper, Gerry aka vegasgem, has a wonderful Gallery filled with fun folds, fun cards, and fun pics. But she did cheat. She has so many pics of adorable babies, you just have to fall in love with her Gallery. So so sweet.
I bought these stamps and die sets thinking they would be good for masculine cards and this great card from Gerry spurred me to get them out and use them finally: Cold One by vegasgem at Splitcoaststampers
I kept her beer mug as the focal point but mine is a die; I used similar colors; I used a circle instead of an oval; and, while she didn't use an EF on this card, she did use this EF on several other cards she made.
I embossed the white panel; die cut the circle and lined it up in the embossing folder to match the white panel. Fairly tedious. Of course, after I went through that, I realized I should have just glued the circle on first and then emboss. {{{HEAD SMACK}}}. The mug die cut is colored with COPICS.
Congratulations Gerry you have a super Gallery. I hope you enjoy your week in the spotlight and all the cards made in your honor. I hope everyone is having a great day. SKOAL! TFL

Awesome!!! Fabulous design with embossing in 2 colors. Gives a very cool look like it was cut in after. The coloring/shading on the mug is perfect in every way. Love the fun headline pun. Excellent masculine card...

Fab coloring on that beer! And you did dark beer too - my favorite (I love Porter). Love this card, Debbie - very eye-catching, fun, and well done. I think it is more fun when you don't do things like gluing stuff down - makes it more challenging and you have a chance to be extra creative - lol. Hugz
