This week's MMTPT challenge is to provide support to Walt who we want to let know we have not forgotten.
Christmas is so hard those first few years when you have lost someone very important to you - especially the love of your life. One year, I lost my Sister in tragic circumstances and then my Father - I felt like even breathing during the holidays was hard. Empty chairs made me cry. Everything made me cry. We need to especially remember those facing these losses during this time of year.
I admit, I went to YouTube and typed in peaceful watercolor painting and this is what grabbed me:

Such a beautiful, tranquil card. I’m sure Walt will appreciate it. I’m so sorry about losing your sister and Dad in the same year. 2011 was that year for me… lost my Mom (way too young from a super rare autoimmune disease), my mother-in-law (20+ yrs older than my Mom), my cat, and my aunt. I couldn’t “do” Christmas for a few years. I know what you mean about it being simply hard to breathe let alone function. My heart goes out to everyone experiencing that this holiday season. It’s brutal and certainly makes this NOT “the most wonderful time of the year.”

Nancy this is stunning. You should just get rid of your stamps and paint all your cards. If you don't want to throw the stamps away you can send them to me. LOL. But seriously, I love your talent and the beautiful cards you make using it. And I love your heart and the beautiful energy and messages you put out into the world. And, I have no doubt, Walt will love this gorgeous creation you made for him. Big Hugs.

That is a beautiful card, Nancy, and I think it's perfect for Walt. It's hard to use messages with happy and merry when loss is still raw, and the message on this is just right. The muted colours, dark matting and pop of colour from the berries are all fantabulous.
