I selected my die, then the paper, then the cardstock. I cut the green shimmery panel to size, applied a portion of a Sizzix adhesive sheet to the back, and ran it through the Big Shot with die taped in place. I applied the large green piece to the background cs. On reverse card, I applied the tree die cut. I then went to work placing the insert pieces within the tree that had the green panel. I then selected a stamp to use. Then looked for ink that closely matched the Marco shimmer paper, and settled on the TH Distress Pine Needles as my closest match. Because I wanted to emboss the word anyway, and to make sure the distress ink stamped well for the word, I used the method of first applying Versamark clear to the stamp (using my MISTI for placement), then over stamping that with the distress ink. Clear embossed that. On the reverse card, I used vanilla embossing powder after following the stamping procedure. The swirl portion of the end of the Joy slipped on me, so it is extra swirled in the vanilla on green background card.

Very nice! I really enjoy that tree die and love how you did it! I thought the Joy was a die cut, you made it match the color perfectly! I didn't notice the extra swirl as being different until you mentioned it. Looks great!
