This was done playing along with this weeks trio of Christmas cards by Ocean Spice on YouTube that Kia has shared with us. She made this gnome look so easy. ( this is my second attempt) and before it hit the bin the way the first did, I decided to plop a bow on his hat.) You can see the trials here on the blog. I struggled with this one so much, I never made it all the way through the video to see the other options. If you'd like to play along with us, you can find this challenge here. Thanks for this challenge Kia & tfl.

Stacy, he is so cute and I love the gingham bow/ribbon. I think I threw one or two in the trash, too. I like his hat with the sprinkles of glitter.

Love the bow - it's a festive addition to your cute gnome. They are such homey little creatures that I think it's hard to go wrong on them (this said BEFORE I actually try painting one . . .)

Sorry for your struggles, Stacy. I Love the ribbon on his hat. He looks like a newbie gnome, so innocent. Wonderful work creating him....perseverance is the key to success~
