This is for Tutorial #1 of the Falliday Fest - Gilded Die Cuts. This was a lot of fun - and rather messy!
I die cut my three snowflakes from white card stock and added 2 way glue. I then carefully added silver and copper gilding flakes in bits and pieces to each snowflake, then added gold perfect pearl powder to the remaining spots. I used a kitchen sponge to burnish the snowflakes. It wasn't the best to use but was what I had available.
For my background, I used Night of Navy and embossed it with my snowflake ef. I then lightly sponged the panel with white craft ink to bring out the snowflakes. Then I heat embossed gold embossing on the edges. This panel is popped up with foam tape. The snowflakes are attached directly this panel.
Thanks for the challenge and thanks for looking!
