More details on my blog Kath's Blog Everyday Life Of A Crafter
I began by creating a background on an A2 panel of Distress Watercolor card using Simon Says Fir Tree Branches Embossing Folder. I dragged Pine Needles Distress Oxide ink pad over the debossed side of the folders spritzed with water and ran through my die-cutting machine. I die-cut Simon Says Make A Wish, the shadow panel from Vellum and the words twice from Distress Watercolor card and fixed in place with Distress Collage Medium. I die-cut Simon Says Santa from Distress Watercolor card, Simon Says Lipstick Red, Black and Idea-ology Gold Metallic Kraft Stock, assembled and fixed in place with Foam Squares. I trimmed the panel to 3.1/2" x 5.1/2", fixed to A2 white card blank, added strips of paper from the Prima Candy Lane pad and die-cut Simon Says Kate Snowflakes. To finish I used Ranger Glossy Accents on the nose, Sakura Black Glaze and White Gelly Roll pens on the eyes and Nuvo Aqua Shimmer Pen to add shimmer on the hat fur, Santa moustache and snowflakes.
