We have been watching and learning for 131 weeks about watercolor. This week Stacy found one by Emma LeFeve who redid her cards from three years ago. The word that comes to my mind when thinking about all those weeks and this video is confidence. In the beginning we were all afraid to sketch we used stamps, now we sketch more than stamp. I made two cards using her techniques. The first one is the simple mistletoe and the second is more a nature take with the pinecones. Both use winter greenery, but in different ways and still keeping true to the basis of the video. Come and join us and share your take on the video. TFL

these are so fabulous, I remember holding the first ever painted card you mailed me and how much I admire to this day your talent Linda, the one on the right is my favorite. All those details are so so gorgeous here. The framing and fibers are just icing on the top.

Fabulous! Linda the coloring/shading of both is superb. My favorite is the pine cone but both are truly amazing designs. The framing choices for both are phenomenal...

Two gorgeous creations! Love them both, Linda, but my very favorite is the pinecones card! The softness of the colors and design just seem to draw me in.

The mistletoe is pretty but the one with the pinecones is "Oh My Goodness - FABULOUS". Between the intricacy of the greenery and the soft deep blue shadows this just sizzles! I am jealous because pinecones are another thing I struggle with and yours look amaze-balls!
