My card for this week's Teapot Tuesday's challenge, Give Him A Lift. Our cards of encouragement are going to Jeremy, who needs some cheering up.
I masked off the top and bottom of the SU WW CS panel with torn copy paper, and used the DOX inks to blend in sky and hills. Leaving the masks in place, I then stamped the small pines in Distress Archval Hickory Smoke. Then stamped the Large Douglas Fir stamp with the Black Soot DA ink to give the scene some perspective.
Removed the masks and stamped the sentiment with Memento Tuxedo Black ink in the corner. Mounted this panel onto a layer of the green textured CS, and mounted that onto the card front.
A simple card that I hope will convey a bit of cheer to our recipient. I always find a walk in the woods to be a good way to re-gain my perspective when I'm feeling down. TFL!

awesome card - and love the sentiment. The trees among the snowy ground does let us know all things become new again with time.. The pine trees in the center look like a soft fog is rising amoung them... great card. thank you

Gorgeous. I love the idyllic scene you created with the masking and inking. The two colors on the trees did add the exact perspective you were going for. And the sentiment is powerful and inspiring. Wonderful card, especially for this Tea Party.
And, I'm not the only who thinks so. Your card is on the SCS Facebook page today.
