I knew exactly where I wanted to go when I saw our challenge to send cards about what we do to lift our spirits when we are feeling blue. For me, going to the ocean to listen to the waves is a magic elixir. I actually prefer a windy day with churned up surf. I stamped and fussy cut the waterline on white and glued it between the sand and waves DSP, adding a few details in black microline pen where they were lost in the cutting. There is also some Wink of Stella on the waterline, but don't think you can see it in the photo. Triple stacked the chair and sponged with some Bashful Blue. I hope this card serves our recipient, Jeremy, with the same peace being there would bring.

Gorgeous scene and I love how you added the white along the wave line. I couldn't agree more about the sound of surf and that it is most definitely better when it's a bit cloudy and windy. My favorite time at the beach. Fabulous card, Faith.

Wonderful scene, and I wish I could join you there. I grew up within earshot of the sea and I still miss it. I really like the way you added the white surf line.
