A big congrats to Jessica, the newest Featured Stamper (FS822)! She has a lovely gallery and I chose THIS card to case. I kept the layout w/ the big flower on the side, but used different images, dies & colors, left off the horizontal band and did some heat embossing on mine.
I used 2 different image sets for my card: the big poinsettia and the pine bough bg. The poinsettia was put in my Misti and stamped once w/ black ink. After coloring it in w/ Copics, I stamped over it w/ gold ink then embossed it w/ gold powder & used the matching dies to cut it & the leaves. The pine bough bg was also gold embossed. The Merry and the frame were die cut out of mirror gold and I used a dk green for the shadow layer of the greeting and popped it and the poinsettia up a bit.
Thanks so much for looking. It's on my blog: The Write Stuff

Stunning. All the gold embossing and papers make each element shine. Your poinsettia is gorgeous but I love love love the pine boughs and the berries tie in so beautifully with the colors on the bloom. Fabulous card.

All that gold is gorgeous, and keeping the big blossom makes this Christmas card just wonderful, Julie!
