I acquired the leaves stamps at a nearby consignment shop for 50 cents, and took a chance that they would stamp well. By using the MISTI stamp platform, and being able to repeat stamp areas that needed it, the stamped leaves were successful. The veins were stamped with a light brown; this was two-step stamping. To get varied colors, I used blender brushes to apply various colors of inks to the stamps, then used a blending brush to fill in a blue sky. For the gratitude phrase, I cut apart a stamp that was originally on a wheel. I used double sided tape to adhere it to the door of the MISTI, inked it first with Versamark, then with a fall color, stamped it, embossed it with clear embossing powder, heat set it, then cut and mounted it. The die cut leaf is a leftover from a previous project. I popped it up with pop dots, and adhered it at the corner of the phrase.
