I purchased the Harvey Colorize Thinlit dies a few weeks ago and, of course, they've been sitting in my craft room untouched. So today's IC gave me the push to try them out!
There are lots of pieces to these soldiers so another time I might just cut all the pieces out in white and color them with Copics or paints - instead of so many different colored papers! and I'd definitely make multiples at one sitting to have on hand!
But he IS so fun! and there are 3 versions you can make with all the dies included! Different style jackets and accessories for the hat. There are eyes and a mustache as well!
It's not even Halloween yet and I've already moved to Christmas!?

I love your toy soldier, Julia! What a neat die set, even if it's a lot of cutting it gives a great look and you had a wonderful DSP for the background!

Wonderful to see your traditional Christmas card with the toy soldier. I applaud you for your patience to do all those little pieces. Reminds me of playing with paper dolls. Thanks for your great deets. TFS

Your toy soldier card is just wonderful. I imagine it took a while to get it cut and put together but well worth it. I really like the design and pretty paper in the background.
