Our recipient likes all things nature and the color combo of black, white, and red. I decided to go with some stamps I haven't used in awhile...ones I carved several years ago. I had actually forgotten about the mushroom border one and thought it would go well with the bird.

Polly, this is so, so pretty. Perfect creation for Cassie and wait until she hears you carved them! I am so impressed! Thanks so much for thinking of my friend,

Gosh, your carved bird is fab, Polly. The mushroom border looks super too, but I love the bird. And your photo staging. I have my mother's childhood ebony and ivory dominos, though I'm not sure if the full set is there.

Well, you thought right cause that border looks fab with that equally fab bird. Let me add my praises to those above for your carving ability -- AWESOME! Love the bird; love the mushrooms; the design; love the overall look of this card. Reminds me a bit of native American/primitive art. You nailed it, Polly. Fabulous card.
