Charmaine made her card for a World Cardmaking Day challenge to use a single stamp for the background and focal image. Recently, I have been looking for ideas for using small stamps, especially to make quick cards. So this card intrigued me and I wanted to try it.
I selected a stamp set with a small coffee related stamp. I used different colors with two blues in the same manner that Charmaine used two neutrals. I stamped the background using VersaMark ink and then used it to heat emboss the image in white. I die-cut a circle and a scallop circle from the darker blue. I selected a sentiment and heat embossed it as well. I kept it simple with a single layer on the white card base.
I like the idea and will be using it again for many of my small stamps. Thanks Charmaine for sharing your wonderful cards with us and for inspiring mine today!

I loved that card of Charmaine's too and happy to see you cased it beautifully in blue. Love the little teacup embossed in white and all your single stamping of it!

This is a terrific card, Diane - I'm glad my WCMD card inspired you to use this sweet latte stamp. Those steamy hearts are so cute! Thanks for honouring me with your creation!

Well, your version of the single-stamp card turned out beautifully. I love the image you used and the blue on blue tones are super. Those two sentiments work so well together -- great combining on your part. Fabulous design and a Fabulous card.
