Congratulations to Charmaine Stack aka tweedcurtain as our newest Featured Stamper, FS819. I am captivated with her Gallery, finding again several I previously had pinned for further study. It was difficult narrowing it down to a few potentials for todays Challenge.
Finally I chose Celebratory Sequins by tweedcurtain at Splitcoaststampers to try her inlay method (usually I use only the positive section of a word die) -AND- I recognized another opportunity to use a new-ish Basic Borders die.
I kept the portrait orientation and feminine appeal, but used different colors and added a stamped word plus a bow. I was sad not to have any tiny star-shaped sequins, so that omission was truly no choice (LOL). You cannot tell in my photo but the sequins are in 4 colors.
I cannot remember which flower is on the envelope, I found it already made in my stash and the color was right.
I am pleased with my fun birthday card, and found other inspiration cards which I hope I can make during this week of celebrating tweedcurtain!

What a fun and happy design. I don't think you can get more celebratory than with dots and you have them galore. Love that big sentiment die cut this more of that fun dp showing through. Your friend will be delighted with this charmer.

Terrific case. Love the colors and papers you used. The inlaid die-cut sentiment looks great. Like you, I usually only use the positive cut, but the inlaid look is fabulous. Terrific layout. Well done!

Gayle, thank you for visiting my gallery and leaving so many lovely comments. And thank you for CASEing the celebrate card - it is one of the ones I am fondest of. Love the colours you chose and I keep looking at that "Let's" and think it is just the PERFECT addition with that loopy L! Glad you had fun with this!
Gayle, this is a great case of Charmaine's card. I love the polka dot paper you used for your main focal layer and how perfectly it looks with your inlaid sentiment. Wonderful!
