I had so much fun creating this holly and berry background using the new stencil that is part of the October release at Papertrey Ink! I used a post-it note to mask off the stems when I stenciled the berries and I also used a very tiny blending brush. I added vellum behind the frame to soften the look yet it lets you still see the patterned background. I combined the new stencil with some older released items (Into the Blooms: Pine and Sprigs & Sprays: Holiday).

Love your joyous explosion of greenery! The vellum lets them shine without obscuring the stencilled background. Beautiful bit of sparkly ribbon for shine; what could be better?
