This was a fun Teapot Tuesday challenge. I come from Winnipeg and have made a trifold card. I am focusing on 2 festivals we are known for. Our winter festival, Festival du Voyageur, celebrates the French and Metis settlers in our area. It features traditional costume, foods, music and dancing as well as beard growing, wood carving and snow sculpture contests.

oh my.. words cannot express the perfection in this card. You did a perfect job on coloring. I know the kids will love this card as well... the details are amazing.

Well, you had the perfect images to express your festivals and they sound like a ton of fun, just like your card. Beautifully coloring. I so enjoyed learning about these festivals fro your write-up. I'm not sure which of these guys would win the beard growing contest though -- gray bread looks longer but brown bread looks thicker. Glad I'm not judging that contest, but I judge your card to a winner! How fun for the kids.
