This week we are connecting with a class of 9 year olds who live in France. We're telling them about the places we live. I used a favorite stamp featuring a lake which is what Minnesota is known for. I did a wrinkle free distress bg and then stamped the image with verafine. I'm going to include some postcards about the Twin Cities and write facts on those. Come join us this week and tell the class all about your hometown, state, or country!

Great image to use for Minnesota and I love the addition of the post cards. I don't have many places that sell post cards near me and really wish I had some information about the racetracks near me but alas I have not been to them in a very long time and don't have any stuff in my stash. So, I may just need to provide them a web link in the card.

Gorgeous card as I'm sure all your lakes must be. I have always wanted to see them in person, but I'm not sure travel is in our future. I LOVE you bg and how you managed to get that bit of blue in just the right spot. Fabulous. The addition of the post cards is so clever. I'm sure this class will adore all of these. Fabulous card, Polly.

wow - fabulous. Awesome colors that really make these cards stand out. Great themes... clever using postcards... I saw a post card from my area, Wampum, PA one time... that local shop closed about 30 years ago. Never thought about it, but now I'll be searching the area to see if any other stores would carry a Wampum post card. Maybe the post office??

Love your card with it's focus on the lake and wildlife. I actually have a stamp of the state of Minnesota. It is a stained glass style and was bought in error. It features a duck which I love so I just square off the edges of your state (sorry) and use it anyway.

Polly, what a beautiful card you made .... there are so many wonderful details about Minnesota for the children to learn about! Great idea to include those colorful postcards showcasing even more about your state!
