A stone bridge (on Stonebridge Road!), crosses the Sudbury River, that leads to Wayland center. It was here that Lydia Child, an author and abolitionist, wrote the song, "Over the river and through the woods", so familiar at Thanksgiving.

SO COOL! Gorgeous card, made more awesome still by the story behind it! I'm wondering if any of the youngsters will have heard of this classic song - if not, I bet they will love the tune should they listen to it!
