Congratulations to SuZ aka pixordia as our newest Featured Stamper, FS818. I took a slow pace through her gallery and saw new ideas and old friends in the supplies she has used.
I cannot express how much I adore the Oceanfront stamp set, and the Horizon dies work so perfectly you would think they were made for each other (they were not LOL). SuZ made what seem to be fair weather scene so I went with a stormy beach and birds rather than a dolphin.
I stamped the background onto a small piece of unmounted canvas (goodness know where that came from) then moved the ink with an AquaPainter. When dry I added the grasses and birds. The sun and fence die went on last, and the sentiment.
Inside: left blank for now, but I am thinking something like YOU NEVER LET ME DOWN

Wonderful case. The textured paper caught my eye; it looks amazing. The embossing is a nice touch. You could write "waving hi" on the inside. Fabulous card. Great look!

Gayle, may be a storm scene but it has a peaceful look to it. I love the card you cased and yours. Beautifully done. Great EF. Hugz

I used to love visiting the beach in Fall when the sky was slightly overcast. The sea has a different beauty than the sunny summer light. Your scene reminds me so much of those days. As Nancy said, it's a very peaceful look. Love the ef for the base layer. Adds to the sense of sand and surf. Great card.

Oh Gayle: I also love these sets and how you can mix and match them. So fun and versatile. I love windy days on the beach where after a while you can find a sheltered spot out of the wind and watch the sky and water and grasses waving on the dunes. Love your inspiring case.
