When I saw this pumpkin on today's inspiration board, the expression made me laugh out loud! That paired with Kia's mention of pumpkin pie jumpstarted this card. I sketched a jack-o-lantern similar to the inspiration and also a pie and set about watercoloring them. Once done I sponged around my piece with Amber ink and then a 2nd time with Peeled paint being careful to keep the green on just the very edge of the painting. Computer generated my own sentiment on orange cardstock and used that to frame my painting.
This will be a birthday card for my best friend who was born on Halloween. I know she will get a big kick out of this . . . .

Really, really cute. I see sweat on that poor pumpkin. Ha He knows what is next. Good watercoloring as always. Super card for a Halloween birthday.
