Ways to Use It Challenge - to be inspired by Halloween, not necessarily a Halloween card
Color Challenge - Pumpkin Pie, Daffodil Delight, Gorgeous Grape
After pondering it, I thought the pumpkins seen at Halloween inspired me. I located this cute little set and some masking paper. I remembered that I had wanted to case this card last year:
The Challenge Colors were perfect for it. On Natural Ivory cardstock, I stamped the first pumpkin in Pumpkin Pie ink, then masked it and stamped the next pumpkin. Using the pumpkin mask, I stamped a squash (?) in Mossy Meadow beside each pumpkin. Also, I stamped some of the filler in Gorgeous Grape. I used water painters to carefully watercolor the pumpkins and squash and do a bit of a purple wash at the bottom. I stamped blessings with a different stamp.
I used a Pumpkin Pie card base with a Gorgeous Grape mat for the main panel. On the card base, I stamped a plaid background in VersaMark ink for a subtle pattern. A few enamel dots and there you have it. It was quick & easy and fun! TFL

This is One Sweet autumn scene, Diane! The grape looks terrific as a border for your squash and the little filler too! Your square bg adds to the country flavor~
