My Sketch Challenge card has some soft colors this week. I played with Distress Oxides ink and cut out some hearts. The background was stamped in DOX Stormy Sky using a background stamp with Scripture about Love. It was then sponged with the same colors as the hearts.

Clever use of hearts and sponged colors are beautifully soft and calming...a GREAT choice of colors. Lovely choice of background stamping and sponging!

This is stunning, I love everything about it! The soft colors complement each other well, and the hearts really stand out against the text background even though the sponged colors are the same. Looks very cohesive. I like the random dots scattered amongst the hearts - this is a really nice extra touch that is small but makes a big impact overall.

First of all - that is MY FAVORITE SCRIPTURE! The hearts are so soft and pretty. Your soft sponging is beautiful.
I cross stitched a very ornate marriage remembrance which is framed and on our living room wall. At the bottom of the piece is this scripture. It took weeks to stitch the piece.
