This week the Teapotters are sending some paper hugs and cheer to 14 year old Kylee who has been hospitalized with an eating disorder. Kylee loves rainbow colors and I love butterflies.
My card was inspired by this beauty I recently spotted on Pinterest: https://www.newtonsnookblog.com/2022...y-farhana.html I thought this SSS flower die would be more youthful for this occasion and I switched out the white flowers for the butterflies.
I made the rainbow bg by ink blending DOX onto glossy cs and then added the glaze to brighten the colors. Topped it off with the glitter paste which gives it a lovely iridescence IRL. The layer around the sentiment was direct-to-paper inking with the Ocean DOX.
I hope Kylee never forgets to dream and to dream big because being a teenager can be difficult. It was for me. But as an adult, I have had some fabulous experiences, met some amazing people and made enduring memories. And that is my wish for Kylee. I hope you are all having a beautiful day and remember -- never stop dreaming no matter your age. Life brings us so many wonderful and unexpected surprises. TFL
